Virtual Activism is a 501(c)3 organization registered in Rhode Island, with consultative status with the UN since 2016.
The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at its Coordination and management meeting of 25 July 2016 adopted the recommendation of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to grant consultative status to Virtual Activism, to enable it to actively engage with ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies, as well as with the United Nations Secretariat, programmes, funds and agencies.
